Lies
Lies are like drugs:
They are habit forming.
They having lasting negative effects. They are often used to avoid pain. When their effects wear off, they leave things worse off.
They have a very narrow therapeutic index.
Just say no.
Friends don’t let friends tell lies.

How Do We Face the Unknown?
Do we rush in with a charge of in invincibility?
Do we cower paralyzed by fear?
Do reassure ourselves in ignorance?
Or, do we navigate cautiously towards the light of truth?
Do we negotiate our beliefs and doubts with humility seeking to learn and understand?
Or, do we pick a side and make decisions fueled by hysteria or hubris?
In honesty, I do not know. But, I refuse to turn my back on anyone who committed to finding out.
